The Bagni di San Candido is the place in which nature, architecture and history meet: with incredibly ancient origins, here you can admire the ruins of what used to be between the 19th and 20th century the Grand Hotel where the Prussian and Austrian monarchy used to stay. This ancient splendor of late romanticism makes this place mystical in any season and any moment of the day; the walk that brings you here is pleasurable: a forest of red firs frames the path on which visitors walk.

The zone has large refreshment areas where, during the warm season, you can enjoy a picnic and to explore the cinque fonti that make it unique; during the winter, excursion are the rule. In the panorama, what fascinates are exactly the ruins of the Grand Hotel: with the Sun that reflects the dawn and opulence of a time that was; with the cold and the mist, this place becomes almost spectral and the atmosphere is melancholic. The highest windows make you think about far away love stories where the passing of times only left a memory.
