For years, the most famous of Milanese chefs, Carlo Cracco, has dominated the city’s gastronomic scene from its historic restaurant in Via Victor Hugo. Then this year, after gaining celebrity in the mainstream media, he launched his most ambitious project: a restaurant that had to be the cathedral of fine dining, five floors of exclusive environments that can give an all-round taste experience, from the café to the bistro up to the finest haute cuisine. The Cracco restaurant soon became the absolute king of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, sharing its Olympus with historical names of Milanese excellence such as Versace and Marchesi. It’s hard not to notice it, it’s hard to resist and it’s unforgettable once you’ve tried it.
