6. The Bell Tower of Sighs
About thirty meters high, the bell tower of the Basilica of San Celso is also the oldest in the entire city. Over the centuries this building has assumed particular importance for the Milanese, because it has become the center of an interesting tradition: to ensure the success of their marriage, young brides used to lay their wedding bouquet under at its feet. After being closed for years, this glorious building can be visited again. At the top, you will find a wonderful view of the historic Milan with all its towers and centuries-old buildings.
