spirits of the island of Capri, where the botanicals actually come from. The name Caprisius describes, in its

Latin root, the history of Capri and its fundamental role in Roman times, in fact it was from Capri that the

Emperors Augustus and Tiberius ruled the Roman Empire. The background of the label represents the mix

of colors of the waters of the Grotta Verde and Grotta Azzurra, iconic places on the island. The brand's

mission is to enhance its land through a unique and recognizable product that represents the true nature of

Capri, which is the encounter between the land and the sea, highlighted by the selection of local

ingredients and the use of sea salt.

Production

All the botanicals chosen were grown and harvested on Capri and are distilled separately. Specifically, they

are macerated for 10 to 15 days in hydroalcoholic solution of various strengths (higher for juniper and

lemon, lower for thyme and marjoram) and then distilled. The salt is dissolved in water that is added to the

distillate blend to lower the alcohol content.
